RE: Welcome to the Clan Blair Society Forums!
Site looks good. Might change last spelling of Welcome.
How to I find what time zone I'm in and how do I reset it?
Where to go to change my personal info?

Glad you found the profile info. I can make a short video on that stuff once the site gets rolling. I added you to the Members group, so you should see the Private forums.

Once you're assigned to the Members' group, you'll be able to add items to the calendar. You'll also be able to upload and download attachments on posts and a few other priviledges that just a registered user cannot do. Watch for your description on the left side to change to 'Member'.

I see that my description has changed to "CBS Member" I accessed the calendar, but it is not interactive or receiving information. I wanted to post the scheduled newsletter input deadline and mailing date. As of today the newsletter is full and going to press in two days. Allen

Shawn, I see that you entered the newsletter input deadline on the calendar -- great. I hope members will use the calendar as a place to check all society dates. Next time we can add my e-address to the note. Allen

Hmm.. We might want to think about what to do for a contact. The calendar is probably available to the search engines because guests can view but not add or change a calendar entry. That would make your email address vulnerable to spammers. Maybe I can encode it to protect it. I'll check it out.

BTW, notice the new forum I added about the Forums Information. I've already posted a link to a video I made on how to add a calendar event. Of course, only Members can add an event.
